Our Supple Woven Wool rugs are woven on a pit loom. The weaver sits in front of the loom with legs underneath and operates a series of foot pedals. A skilled weaver can handle as many as ten pedals, allowing them to create challenging, intricate designs using only the beautiful natural colors of sheep.

Reversible: all our Supple Wool rugs are neatly hemmed, and can be flipped to enjoy the unique patterns of each side.

These rugs are slightly thicker and provide more padding underfoot than our other Flatweave wool rugs.
