Rug Size Variations
As you can see above, we keep the pattern (for example, the width of each stripe) the same regardless of the size of the rug. We think this is important. A larger pattern does not look more appealing, just because it is on a larger rug.
As these rugs are hand made, there will be some small variation in actual sizes. Width is affected by the individual weaver and the tension applied to the weft yarns. We over weave the length, to allow for the anticipated shrinkage of the warp, as the tension is released when it leaves the loom.
